At Frontier Safaris Namibia, we offer the ultimate add on or premier wing shooting package. Adding bird hunting onto your Leopard or Plains game Bow hunting safari has never been this easy. Bird hunting is great for the whole family and guarantees you an action packed day. Namibia has a large variety of huntable game bird species that can be hunted during Namibias bird hunting season (May through the end of November).
Frontier Safaris Namibia is home to some of the world’s finest sporting birds such as three sandgrouse species: Namaqua Sandgrouse, Doublebanded Sandgrouse, and our family named Burchell Sandgrouse, as well as some splendorous dove shooting home to: Laughing Doves and Cape Turtle Doves, in addition to our personal favorite, the Helmeted Guineafowl. Redbilled Francolin, Kurrichane Button Quail, and Harlequin Quail are also available. No doubt you will be impressed with the sheer speed and agility our birds aquire as well as the unrivaled number of worthy African game birds our ranch is home to.
Additional Bird Hunting Info
At Frontier Safaris Namibia, we offer wing shooting as an add on and premier package for all our clients. Our wing shooting opportunities runs from May through the end of October. We are fortunate enough to have adequate numbers of birds that bird hunting late in the season is just as good as early season. Our wing shooting fee is additional to your daily rate and includes your 25 birds/day camp limit. Additional birds can be purchased according to the price list. Each bird specie has a season and daily limit. Only two birds of each species may be exported per client, per safari. You are welcome to bring your own shotguns or use our shotguns free of charge.
